My Name is EJ Young , I’m a basketball trainer and I work with all ages of kids. My career goal is to inspire the youth help them gain confidence. I believe every child can excel in any sport or anything they want to in life.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My family had serval tragic events that happenned causing my siblings and I to be separated for several years. If it wasn’t for sports, I don’t know where we would be!

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do (or did if retired)?
I love the fact that I can help kids see their full potential and help get them to the next level.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community and your favorite dishes there?
Johnny Bs has the best wings and pizza around to me, and Rosters burgers are amazing.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community? And if you moved here, where were you from originally?
I’ve lived in Dahlonega for 28 years and worked in Dahlonega for 3.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community and why?
My varsity basketball coach Bobby Smith. He taught me a lot about the game of basketball and how to channel that in on and off the court by being a leader.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
United Kingdom–every since I was a child I just always wanted to go there and experience the life style.

The Walking Dead

Believe in God and always do what feels right.
