In both my personal and professional life, I embody the values of a loving and caring leader. My family, including my wife Brittany, our two boys Nolan & Nate, and the soon-to-be-arrival of our third child, is at the heart of everything I do. As a small business owner, I take pride in running Brightway Insurance, The Caldwell Agency, which is an independent insurance agency located in Cumming, GA. Beyond business, my commitment extends to giving back to the community, reflecting my passion for service and community engagement.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do (or did if retired)?
I am an independent insurance agent. Love helping people navigate insurance and provide solutions to help protect what is most valuable to them.
Q: What is your favorite restaurant in our community and your favorite dish there?
Spirits Tavern- Dragons Breath Burger with Tator Tots
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community? And if you moved here, where were you from originally?
We have lived in Dahlonega since 2009. My Grandparents have lived here my whole life and moved from Cobb County.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community and why?
Cal McGraw has to be. I met him when I was working at Achasta in college, and he has been a business mentor to me throughout my career.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Petit St. Vincent in the Carribean, one of the most beautiful places i have been to, and has some of the coolest cottages made out of lava rock.
Q: What is one of your favorite movies or TV shows?
This is tough, it would have to between The Office and Jack Ryan.
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Business Advice: Always give 110%, hard work always beats people who are more talented than you. Personal: wake up every morning giving thanks/ gratitude to God for what you have (family, health, friends, etc), it can be taken tomorrow.
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Go to Scotland/ Ireland to play golf.
Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive or not alive today, with whom would you love to have lunch? Why?
Mr. Cal McGraw, this man is so knowledgeable about life and business. I still meet with him today for lunch just advice on anything.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
There are a lot of people in this community that have a heart of gold and will do anything in the world for you. You see that with the festivals and the charm that our town has, and my hope is that continues in the growth that we are seeing.

Jesus, Family, and Friends- there are so many people that have had impact on my life to be better!
