Raised in Dahlonega with three sisters. Yahoola Valley girl that loves my town! Two amazing boys that are extremely talented and a husband that I would follow anywhere.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do (or did if retired)?
I hug and kiss kiddos all day. Greatest world to live in.

Q: What is your favorite restaurant in our community and your favorite dish there?
Foothills is our go to! It always feels like home when you sit down.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community? And if you moved here, where were you from originally?
48 years in this perfect town.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community and why?
Thomas Scanlin is by far one of the most talented and kindest people I have ever met. I know a lot of people, and every time I talk with him, I walk away more amazed by his life and passion for the world.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Nepal- I’d go for an amazing walk.

Q: What is one of your favorite movies or TV shows?
Growing up, I never messed an episode of mega PI. Now I watch anything about real life stories.

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Find something to be passionate about. Learn to ask for help and know where to go when you need it.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Walking the Great Wall of China.

Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?
Dvorak

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive or not alive today, with whom would you love to have lunch? Why?
Jesus- I would want to thank him. I love him.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
We are in eclectic group of so many personalities. There are a lot of people here that care about others.

Q: What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
As outgoing, as I am, I am actually an introvert.

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
Northern Idaho -it was called Coeur d’Alene absolutely beautiful

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My husband is a mess amazing human being. I know I wish I was more like him every day.

Good food, my people.
